These really ROCK! Bought a pair and the dynamic range is amazing. I had an old pair of Sony MDR EX81-SL and the difference was incredible. I had to turn the volume down about 50% with the ATH Pro700 'cos the response was so good. Only negative is the pressure of the cups on the head. Wouldn't recommend wearing these for a long time...

The circumaural isolation of the ATH-PRO700 SV headphones achieves remarkable isolation from ambient noise, making them perfect for immersive listening in loud environments. With 53 mm diameter drivers, neodymium magnets, and 3,500 mW of power handling, these headphones deliver outstanding sound reproduction. Plus they're compactdesigned to store in the provided pouch. A coiled cable at the left earpiece terminates to a mini plug with included ¼ adapter.
