The DMC-FZ18, a new Panasonic Bridge

If you need a good Digital Camera but don't want to or can't go for a DSLR you can still take a look at the Bridges, and in this category, Panasonic offers a couple good products like this DMC-FZ18 which features an 8.1 MPx sensor, 2.5 inches monitor, 18x optical zoom (28x with the digital zoom). The ISO ranges from 100 to 1600 and a couple cool modes are here to help you make nice photos (scene and iA to correct the blur).

I would buy a panasonic bridge camera except for one thing: they always use tiny quarter-inch sensors which suffer from noise. If they used a half inch or larger sensor their cameras would be much better - less noise, less noise reduction and sharper images!

Yepp the noise is one of the major problem on a Bridge (any bridge), but if you are thinking of shooting outdoor... well this is enough
