ViewSonic unveils Diamani Duo monitor

The new ViewSonic Diamani DUO series of monitors are meant to be used as desktop monitors and LCD TVs, and with 19- and 22-inch models on the way, it might just happen. Even better, the former sports a 1440x900 resolution, and the latter offers 1680x1050 resolution.

Unlike other PC monitors, the ViewSonics sport built-in speakers and a nice base.

Not bad for $350 and $400, huh?

bad? it all depends on the panel type. if its a POS TN panel, then you are getting ripped off. if its an IPS panel, its still too expensive! secondly, a proper wide screen tv is 16:9 ratio while this is 16:10. enjoy the black bars.
