as much as I would like to get one of these for its cuteness, these "ion purifier" gimmicks that companies sell (sorta like the Sharper Image ion fan) don't really purify anything at all. They only emit electrons to give a sensation of cleanliness. Nothing really beats a Sharp plasmacluster purifier though, especially the new ones with the mist humidifier option.
