IMHO
I cant see a hughe difference of sharpness in the daylight shots BUT in the night shots there is a clear winner in sharpnnes wich is the mk2.
Why is this difference in favour of mk2?
The low noise in the mk2 is amazing

I am to understand that it is the Digic 4 processor logrithms that are working to reduce the noise at higher ISO's. Quite well I might add. I guess that the real test will be when it is possible to compare a couple of RAW high ISO images between the 5D and Mark II as this be be without post processing as in the jpegs.

I'm pretty sure that's not only the processor which is better.
The RAW pictures from 1Ds Mark II are better than 5D (according to dxomark.com lab tests), so no wonder that 5D Mk II kills them all
2 ISO steps is great.
I wonder if that comparison is made in absolute size pictures or in downsized to 12 mp.
