Green-House Introduces Their Latest Pocket SSD

Not sure who would be interested in an external 2.5” SSD drive, especially when the only way to connect it to a PC is with a USB 2.0 port.

If you feel the need to be different, here's Green-House's latest Pocket SSD. Available in 32GB and 64GB, it's only 10mm thick, and thanks to its MLC chips provides a 20MB/s reading and a 18MB/s writing speed in a 63g body.

I personally don't see the need for an external USB 2.0 SSD drive... What about you? How would you use it?

I would use it the same way I'd use my current 2.5" external HDD of course. Backups/mobility/etc.

The benefit of this over a conventional 2.5 HDD (I would think) is the lower power requirement thus broader compatibility with low(er) power USB ports w/o requiring 2 USB A connections (one for power, one for data) as the case with my current drive.
