While these new secondary USB screens are undoubtedly of good quality at reasonable prices, one wonders just how essential they are for most people. Are they basically just a luxury item? If so, this may not be the best time to introduce them.

I agree with you RML527, in todays economy things like luxury isn't the main priority for people .... but please for the love of god, get a smaller avatar. I swear if I were one of the staff in akihabaranews i'd ban you quite fast. Get something smaller, it's an eyesore your gravatar or avatar.
I was wondering if there's any price information or what you guys think it will land on.

These screens are good for those of us with only a notebook, and can give a quick bit of extra screen realestate when we are using our machine at home.

Cant think of a good use for these. At their prices, might as well grab a normal monitor. Wish the price on there would drop so i can find a cheaper reason to try these out.

I have a 27 inch and 22 inch side by side and I just picked up one of these. Its really quite handy for widgets and tools, not to mention having videos or media playing while you do serious work on the other two.
