I never noticed any lag, Maybe because I live in the US. I always thought the servers were in Japan since that is where Akihabara is.

In Japan it will cost me 3 to 4 time the price I am paying to get the same server in the USA, and in the USA I have unlimited Bandwidth while in Japan it will cost even more !

Yes, I always wonder why it is so ridiculously expensive to get a server in Japan. Even for spam filters you have to pay extra while this is just a free service in Germany or US.

I never felt much lag on akihabaranews. Probable what it is use to load in 0.5seconds it loads now in 0.25 seconds.

Anyway, how much it cost a CDN? I might get a server in USA with CDN if it's cheaper than getting a server in Japan!

a Server in the USA is 2 to 3 time cheaper than in Japan with a Server 2 time more powerful...

Hey Daimaou, you might want to have a look at what my company does in the CDN area. We might have a solution that would help you scale and improve performance a lot, at moderate cost
