Prime Note Albireo JL, Who Needs a Netbook?

Here's the Prime Note Albireo JL from Dospara. It's a 13.3” WXGA notebook powered by a Core 2 Duo T8100, 4GB of RAM, 320GB of HDD, a DVD Super Multi, a GM965 Express video chipset, Wifi BG… Available right now in Akihabara for 84,900 Yen (€640) and with a total weight of only 1.98Kg.

Yep, may be twice the price of your average Netbook, but at least you get a real PC.

is it a netbook? or at least a note- or subnoteboo. i think everything over 10inch seems to be a notebook.

its a small notebook!
i just cant seem to justify anything when they use an intel gpu. for me the price is too high, price would only be ok if the notebook at least have nvidia geforce 8200, 9300, 9400 or radeon equivalent ex 3450.there are more options out there which are better.

Well, this may be interesting for you, but it's still 1kg heavier then my msi wind.

As soon as they deliver this type of machine weighing 1kg or less, I'm in.

Until then, try again.

I am not carrying this much weight around on hiking trails through Japan.
