Panasonic Rules Japanese the Mobile Phone Gaming industry… and Potentially Match the iPhone's Supremacy

Outside Japan the iPhone is the leading 3G gaming mobile device, but in Japan, manufacturers like Panasonic fear no shame with potentially equal or better looking mobile phone games.

Today Panasonic organized a press conference to group in one event all handsets announced yesterday by both Softbank and DoCoM.

With graphics equivalent to a PSP, PS1 and NDS on some games, and titles like Ridge Race, Gundam and Professor Layton, Japanese games for mobile phones in Japan really rock!

The graphics look great! Does Softbank or DoCoMo have an App Store? That is the main differentiating factor that has driven Apple to success. The Noka N-Gage was capable as a gaming device (but a little phyically unwieldy).
