Mitsubishi Electric Release Five New HD TVs in Japan with Two BRs and HDD Combos

This morning Mitsubishi Electric gathered the Japanese press to announce the launch of five new HD TVs:

MZW300 Series.
Available in 52”, 46” and 40” these LCD TVs are obviously Full HD, but also feature some major improvements when to both sound and image quality. Thanks to the DIATONE HD technology, these TVs provide a gorgeous 5.1 Virtual surround. Thanks to Mitsubishi's new Diamond Panel, they have a nice 20000:1 contrast ratio.

BHR300 Series.
Available in both 37” (1920x1080) and 32” ( 1366x768 ), the BHR300 series features both a 320GB HDD and Blu-ray disc recorder as well as Diamond Engine VII Technology (image processing).

Thanks to its SD/SDHC, iLink and USB port you can connect a camcorder or play video/photos stored on your SD card, as well as edit video directly from a TV and save it on a Blu-ray disc or HDD.

Also available with both series, Mitsubishi offers a Voice Guided EGP solution as well as a the CM Mode, (Commercial Mode) that automatically reduces TV volume to a proper level each time one appears... I don’t know your country, but in Japan and France TV Channels ALWAYS boost their audio when playing commercials, a real pain forcing you to play with your TV remote every time one comes on… A CM mode should be available on every TV on earth…

Both the MZW300 and BHR300 Series will be available in Japan in October.
