2 weeks have passed since I finished reviewing the Canon EOS 7D, the most affordable powerful and complete Canon DLSR on the market, or at least on the paper. Yeah, I had high expectations from the 7D. I first wished this DSLR had been a cheaper 5D MK II by offering us all another Full Frame body, then the news arrived that the 7D was only a APS-C Camera… I dreamed of having a powerful Video mode with support of different frame rates and full control on the video mode, yep, the 7D ...

Even though we weren't that impressed with the last Fujifilm camera we tested, we wanted to fully experience Fujifilm's latest technology, EXR, and decided to give it a try with Fujifilm's high-end FinePix S200EXR.

As you know I've never never been a “Bridge” fan. I've owned some and was always disappointed… I even said once that Bridges are for people who hate taking pictures… Well rest assured, my week with the FinePix S200EXR wasn't that bad!
The Nikon D300 is already quite a nice little DSLR to play with, and the arrival of the D300s raised a lot of questions like... Is the “s’’ worth the extra bucks? We were all impressed by the Panasonic GH1 and its amazing Video Mode and acceptable photo quality… Well at least way better than many other point and shoot or bridge available, but still a tiny little bit under a Nikon D90 (both the GH1 and D90 are sold at the roughly same price in Japan). Yes Micro Four Thirds Technology is impressive, and had high expectations for the Olympus E-P1 as well.
In the world of DLSR there some cameras really shine, and I'm glad to say that Canon with their 5D, and now 5D MK II, and the Nikon D700, are among these digital wonders that transform any of picture taken into pure art.

Today I have the difficult task of making you wish you could afford a D700.
Yeah, I know the Nikon D90 is far from being new, but since Nikon was kind enough to let us play with their DSLR for a week and since I never had the chance of touching one before, I decided it would be worth it to check this baby out and to write a little review.
One amateur and semi-pro cameraman hassle is to find the perfect compact camera capable of reaching a certain level when traveling around, without always needing DSLR.

Yes there is nothing better than a DSLR when it comes to shooting photos, but let’s face it, whether you're a pro or not, you don't always carry a DLSR, meaning that you may loose many possible shots that only the “right time, right place” can provide you… So the question remains, which compact camera yo...

Before going any further with our quick review of NEC's latest VersaPro Netbook, I'd like to stress I have no interest whatsoever in Netbooks. Today's Netbooks are too thick and heavy to even be considered portable… And in Japan for a couple of bucks more you can get a Core 2 Duo capable PC with pretty much the same shape, size, and weight that provides WAY more potential than the average Netbook.
That said… I admit today for the first time Netbook trends have begun. I finally fel...

Yeah!!!! I just received my 4GB JTT spy camera keychain… So here's a quick and dirty little review of this bad boy.

Nothing too fancy here but it's designed in surprisingly good mat black colored plastic… Nope, overall it doesn't look cheap or half done…

It has four buttons but only two are effective (the two close to the camera) and either turn on your camera and start or stop video recording and picture taking taking pictures.
