The 1.3m long and 3mm thick paper watch

If you wondered on the purpose of electronic paper, Citizen shows you now what an application can be! This watch measures 130x53cm and is only 3mm thick, and it can be bent in an angle of 180 degrees. It weighs 1.5kg though. the battery life is quite impressive too, because two button batteries make it work for 1 year!

Citizen has allways been a manufacturer of some really nice timepieces. I have an eco-drive watch that has never given me any problems. Although I wonder if citizen could manufacturer these clocks for the mass markets and incorporate the Eco-Drive technology which would eleminate the need for batteries.....If the price was reasonable I beleve that alot of people would buy one...this could help lower power consumption a small fraction due to that everyone has atleast one clock in their house that is plugged into the outlet.
