How is the text messaging or MMS on that phone? I'm sure that's not a native Japanese phone, do both of the services work on the Softbank network?

This device has been given to us from HTC Taiwan, and the MMS features does not work here in Japan, and I did not even bother try to find a solution, but you should go have have a look on the XDA Dev forum
