Tech magazine T3 (Tomorrow's Technology Today), a British based magazine available in over 20 countries, will publish an update of its POWER 50, the 50 most powerful people in tech in their November, 2008 issue.

Each year they select the 50 most influential people in the tech community and divide them into five categories:

Bloggers and Web 2.0 Innovators
CEOs
Shope Buyers
Journalists
Developers and R&D

Winners in the Blog and Web 2.0 Innovators category:

Ashley Norris http://www.shinymedia.com/
Mena Trott http://www.sixapart.com/
Kevin Rose http://digg.com/
Loic Le Meur http://loiclemeur.com/
Rob Malda http://slashdot.org/
Cory Doctorow http://www.boingboing.net/
Ryan BLock http://www.engadget.com/
Biran Lam http://www.gizmodo.com/
Michael Arrington http://www.techcrunch.com/

I also received this award, and what can I say? When T3 contacted me I didn't realize what it was all about, and a bit surprised at seeing myself among these impressive people (Ryan Block, Brian Lam, Steve Jobs, Horace Luke...).

I want to thank ALL of you, readers, tech companies, the staff here at Akihabara News and HIC, since this award wouldn't have been possible without you.

Thank you very much! We promise with the New Akiba, we'll work hard to give you more!
