Flower Rock 2.0 : Live From Tokyo Tower Records: Happy 20th Birthday Flower Rock 2.0

I’m sure many of you owned this famous dancing flower that came out at the end of the 80’s. Yesterday, Takara Tomy invited us to Tower Records in Tokyo for its 20th anniversary.

Takara Tomy also invited Marty Friedman, a guitarists for the heavy metal band Megadeth, who’s now a tarento "talent" in Japan. Speaking good Japanese, Friedman played some nice 80's music for us.

As for the new flower's specs, it comes with a 1W 40mm speaker (yes, it can be plugged into a DAP to make it dance), Eneloop battery, and the petals and leaves are integrated with LEDs that flash in 50 colors.

The flowers new design was made in collaboration with Sanyo.
