Engadget got the story wrong; the iMac's aren't powered by Corei7. They're powered by Core2Duo's.
All Corei7's are quad-cores, and no nvidia chipset has support for them yet.

this thing has no hdmi output and no fiber or cox audio output. not a ideal soultion for htpc. i like the eee box e204 better.

but Eee Box runs on M$ Windows (ugh)
for those who desires viewing HD content on their HDTV will have to get the Apple TV which comes with HDMI connectivity
