Hi-MD drive for PC

Here's an excellent idea from Sony: a USB Hi-MD reader for PC... for less than 120 EUR. You'll also be able to store data on your Hi-MD's, and it's even possible to do the same on your old regular MD's (305Mb). This really is an excellent idea, but the drive seems to connect in USB1 and not USB2 mode.

Of course, it is in USB 1 and NOT in USB 2.
The magneto-optic technology has limitation, and the rate of the USB 2 is too big for the MD technology, which is NOT a hard disc.

BUT MD is cheaper and safer (keep data more of 50 years) that a hard disc or a flash memory!
