Onkyo has simply been unstoppable over the last few weeks and they don't seem to show any sign of slowing down.
Today they come up with a brand new AV amplifier named "DTX-5.8" and featuring a ton of cool things.
First of all this baby is a 7.1 (7x185W @ 6Ω) compatible with the Dolby NR, TrueHD, DTS-HD but also DD+ (Dolby Digital+) and others...it is equipped with the DeepColor technology (proprietary) to preserve the quality of your HD videos and the more and more inevitable 1.3a HDMI (1080p) in/output.

The best news probably is the price: 640€ (865$).

I'm zee happy owner of an old Onkyo TX-SR600E and I got to admit this one is pretty tempting as a replacement... even more looking at the price !
