A GPS PDA or PDA GPS ?

Inavi, a Korean company specialized in portable GPS systems, has announced their latest PDA/GPS for use on foot or in the car. The INAVI PRO runs on CE.NET 4.2, has a Atlas-A ARM9 192MHz CPU and it seems to have 512Mb of memory and a CF slot. It's a GPS system, so you get all the usual functionalisties for navigation, but you also get multimedia player capabilities (audio AND video), an AGENDA with PIM functions (touch screen) and this combination of functions makes this device really interesting. There is a downside to this whole thing, because, according to my contacts in Korea, INAVI products are not the best you can get for GPS functionalities, despite their look and technical specs. We definitely hope that this is just a temporary setback. One final remark, it can be used anywhere, because the operating temperature varies between -40 to +85 degrees Celcius!
