"The 1x speed rating for CDs (150 kilobytes/s) is not to be confused with the 1x speed rating for DVDs (1.32 megabytes/s).
So I would say it's 80x.

The speed rating for CDs and flash cards is the same: 150Kb/s.
Lexar's cards quote an X rating based on the minimum sustained write speed (80X).
This Buffalo card quotes an X rating based on the read speed (100X), as do many other brands trying to show as high an X rating as possible (and even those who quote write speed, is it the MINIMUM like Sandisk and Lexar)?
