The Japanese Google Map-Earth

The Japanese company called ALPS is one of the leaders when it comes to Japanese cartography (the other reference brand is Mapple), and they present their Professional Atlas SV, a detailed map op Japan that offers detailed satellite photos of Japan, just like Google Earth. If you have a GPS system, you can even hook up the GPS to your computer and load the map at the same time and use it as a Moving Map GPS, even on the satellite pictures.

I tried installing this software and it installs fine but when trying to launch the software it crashes... When I try to uninstall it it gives a message about Microsoft Word and then crashes again. I will have to try this on a Japan OS system.

Did you try by installing it on an English OS BUT with the "Supplemental Language Support for Asia" AND replacing "English (United States)" by Japanese (whatever) in the "language for non-Unicode programs" (you will find this in your control panel in Regional and ...)
