The new Asimo has arrived

Honda has just released a new Asimo that is capable of accomplishing a number of small tasks like serving coffee, replacing the receptionist or guiding visitors (and even holding their hand). Honda also boosted the ways of interaction with humans, just like the speed of Asimo in "racing" mode... it can achieve a whopping 6km/h now. More info on Honda's site.

wow the ASIMO robot has come a long way. I did think that the human interaction function was amazing. The only thing that was creepy about this robot is it looks like a child in a space suit....

This is truely incredible.
It must be a huge step forward in using robotics in everyday life
