The first library with biometrical vein scanner

The city of Naka in the Ibaraki (Ibaraki-Ken) district will have the first library in the world that will have a vein scanner (by Fujitsu) for the bokworms. Throw away those ID/membership cards, your veins will allow you to borrow a book from them. A good idea, because your hand is usually not easy to forget at home. It would be nice too to see this system implemented in other stores too, like movie rental companies for example. An RFID system in the books would boost the speed too of organising such a system. So nothing but good news here.
