: DV-ARV22, the 3-in-1 video recorder

We have some sort of pseudo HD in Japan called Hi-Vision (comparable to 720p) for a while now, and whilst waiting to be full HD by the end of this year, we have a bunch of intermediate products (in between the DVD burner and HD-DVD or BR) that appear on the market, like for example this DV-ARV22, a 3-in-1 video recorder that offers VHS, DVD DL burning and a 250GB HDD. It has a digital tuner (Hi-Vision compatible) and a HDMI port. An interesting products, but chances are that it will become obsolete pretty fast...
