: DoCoMo's summer collection, the N702iS

Season after season, DoCoMo is churning out ugly and un-interesting phones... and this summer is no exception. Let's have a look at this ugly and useless addition to their range... ok, it's not completely useless, since it has one feature that will be interesting for about 5 minutes. This N702iS is a FOMA phone with a 2.1" QVGA screen and a 1.3MP camera. It's available in 8 colours and the concept behind it is based on "champagne" and "water". As you can see on the exterior screen, there are bubbles that can be activated, just like in a glass of champagne. It also has a screen background that changes when you tilt the phone. Once docked on its charging station, this N702iS will also double as a ambient light lamp. As said before, the phone is available in a number of colours that have ridiculous names like Mineral Water, Strawberry Milk, Cafe Latte, Soda, Orange Juice, Cranberry, Matcha, Hot Chocolate, ... and the worst aspect of this phone is that it's finished with a kind of ultra-ugly plastic. I really hope that the Japanese will burst out of their manga-inspired bubble soon and start meeting real people and hopefully see all the cool (and real) stuff out there...
