PDP-607HX : 2 new Pioneer PDP TVs

Pioneer offers today 2 new Full HD 1080p PDP TVs, including the PDP-607HX (60”) and the PDP-427HDX (42”). Both have the “New P.U.R.E Black Panel” and the “New P.U.R.E Drive II” to offer the blackest possible screens. They also have the “Recoder Hot Link” to improve communications between the brand’s DVD recorders and the TVs while improving the video quality as well.

Update.

The 42" has a native resolution 1024x768, and the 60" has a native
resolution of 1365x768. Both models can ACCCEPT a 1920x1080p/24Hz signal,
but will rescale the signal to their native resolutions. 1920x1080p is a
resolution specification, not a display specification, so both new PDP
models (as are all previous Pioneer PDPs) completely HD capable.
