One question, since this has a DVI port would it be safe to assume that onw would be able to use this as a PC monitor? If so it looks like a nice combo for those short on space.

Yepp indeed, I have my Mac Mini stick to my HD TV (37 inches 1920x1080) it work great... the only thing is that I advise you to get a wireless keyb and mouse
