If they want to stop the internal bleeding they should have made their PSP/PS3 worthwhile products, they've had their asses kicked on both occasions by Microsoft. From what I heard PSP is bleeding around 7 billion a year, and PS3 is expected to bleed around 14billion after year one. Hopefully this will put one final resting blow to Sony's half ass stupid ideas of proprietary technology, and give good insight to future companies that try that half ass idea of screwing with customers.
Also - its "does not compute", "Do not compute" is a command statement, telling me not to 'compute' something.

I guess it makes perfect sense. For every Sony device sold with Vista Microsoft get some cash to spend on propping up their X-Box 360. While the X-Box hardly made a dent in the PS2's market (Japanese market: X-Box? Whats an X-Box?), X-Box 360 has a chance with a first to market advantage, but as the 360 is severely underpowered compared to the PS3, if Sony gets it right they can win this one. As for Vista - who wants it?

fractalhorizon, those are stupid arguments. Your basically saying Microsoft shouldn't enter the Japanese market because they're not selling the units they wish they did. Microsoft did some stupid moves with its xbox360 launch, it didn't allow for more Japanese developers participate, so the end result is MS screwing themselves over. But not to enter a market because you won't dominate it when you enter it, is giving away market share to your competitors, which Microsoft is trying to oust.

Your comment about "power" is also stupid/redundant, and once again proves that power means nothing, its all about addictiveness, aesthetic looks, and titles. The nintendo DS is plowing through sales when they released the standard one, and even more when the updated one came by. Now look at Wii's massive sales numbers, they are power driving Wii's through Asia and North America like its a miracle drug. Xbox360 finally got a good "killer" title (Gears of War) but its coming in too late to make a larger difference in the console warfare. Now go look at PS3 and PSP, where are their posted profits? PSP is loosing around 6-7Billion/year, PS3 is projected to 14bill(i think?) loss on its first year (Reported by Sony), and your saying because it has 8 cores which most likely are not used even at half potential means they're gonna churn out 100 killer titles out of the blue? Even when they presented GT3 trailer it was run off a Sony VIAO. Give me a break fanboy.
