Doreamon Flight Sim! More powerful that Wii!

Rate this News:  BadPoorAverageGoodExcellent
Everybody knows Doreamon, the earless cat robot (mice probably ate his ears while he was sleeping). This has been a manga since, well, forever. It is said even Moses was reading Doreamon! Doreamon has a cool gadget, the Yojigame Pocket (4th dimension pocket), in which he stores just about anything from cars to houses and planes. He also has a helicopter hairband that his friends can use for flying. Epoch has released a video game based on this helicopter hairband! Inspired by the Wii remote controller, the player uses a hairband to control his/her character by moving his/her head in all directions. Even if this game is made for children and has a proprietary connection to the TV, I have to admit the game looks ABSOLUTELY cool, and I would LOVED to have it on the Wii. Well done Epoch!

Why do you say this is inspired by the wii-mote? There were many plug-and-play games before the wii that were sensor based, mainly from asia. I remember lik-sang having games like a plug-in sword which was a simple game of slicing things on screen. Going as far back as the SuperNES things like the powerglove all used motion sensing / movement to play. Then you have newer games like Gutiar hero that by moving the guitar up would cause you to 'rock'. Sensor based movement is nothing new or original for games, much less coming from the Wii.
