ANTEC, a company that is certainly not Japanese, offers a superb eSATA enclosure. The MX-1 is elegant and padded with silicon to prevent vibrations. It also has a fan to cool down the hard disk. It seems the enclosure only generates slightly more than 20dBA while in operation.
