Sony XDR-S3HD : Sony's first HD radio !

Yes ! It's called the XDR-S3HD and is coming out this summer.

Now you must be wondering...how can a radio be HD ? Well it certainly can't be High Def but it can be Hybrid Digital and this technology offers a better overall quality in both analog and digital signals plus the usual AM and FM ones.
Right now the number of radio proposing HD content is not so high but the situation should soon change, otherwise I doubt that Sony would have invested in this.
Last but not least a version for cars will be available.
