The iPhone is coming to you!

The official launch date of the highly anticipated iPhone is now known.

On friday, June 29th, our American friends will have the pleasure to get their hands on it!
For the rest of the world the situation is a bit unclear, all we know is that Apple plans on putting 4 million iPhones on the market (300000/month) and that a big marketing/advertising plan should be revealed soon.

If you want one earlier, check on eBay!

Just a little comment about the last thing you said. Because iPhone gonna be linked with one operator (Cingular for the USA) by, it seems, connections with dedicated servers, a phone'll be usable only with the operator from which it was bought. Moreover they don't take benefit of the 3G for the moment. So It gonna be difficult to use an US iPhone, here in Japan ^^

To conclude ... wait and see
But I'll definitly buy one when it'll be released here :D
