and what about that crappy sonic stage s/w? i really like the walkman h/w (got the 2gb "sport" model which so far still seems to be water resistant) but it's s/w is just awful.

Man I am so agree with you... I was about to buy a SONY DAP when I remembered that I needed SonicStage... And well I bought an Iriver DAP instead... same goes for the iPOD too...

I run Mac osx @ home it's a pain in the ass to get the walkman up and runnin on a mac,
trust me when i say pain in the ass i man a hellish pain!
