NEC NP4001 : NEC unveils an expensive projector

NEC has unveiled some specs on its new NP4001 pro-level projector that sports 4500 ANSI lumens, and can be used at distances of 2.8 to 283 feet.

It sports a 2300:1 contrast ratio, and the company's BrillianColor processing technology is used to create better colors.

The 1280x768 projector can be controlled remotely with the help of an Ethernet connection and is expected to hit shelves in October for $6,000.
