New PDP Viera TV with a 15000:1 Contrast Ratio

Today, Panasonic unveils several new TVs: LX, LX80, and PX80 Series.

The PX80 is available in 3 different sizes: 37”, 42” and 50”. All are PDP models (Plasma), featuring x.v.Color, HD in 24p, Viera link, and a contrast ratio of 15000:1.

If everything seems to be somehow “perfect," we are unhappy to report that only the 50” supports an HD-Ready resolution of 1366x768, while the two other models receive respectively a 1024x768 screen resolution for the 42” and 1024x720 for the 32”.

Nowdays, no one on earth will buy lower resolution only if that consumer isn't apart from market and HD stuff.

So non-1080p = pointless, not worth to buy.
