buffalo : Buffalo Stream Your HD and Blu-Ray Contents Over Your Private Network

In Japan, Buffalo sells some nifty network players, like LinkTheater. Thanks to these devices, you're able to stream audio and video data (Mp3 and DivX) over a network, and enjoy it with your home-theater.

If this kind of device is not really new, Buffalo released today LinkTheater series firmware which now supports MPEG4-AVC and DR contents, and is compatible with the Sony BDZ-X90 and BDZ-L70 Blu-Ray recorder/players.

You are now be able to enjoy your HD video (through one of the two mentioned Sony video recorders, on a Blu-Ray disc in HD) anywhere on your private network. Unfortunately, it seems you are not able to stream video from a purchased Blu-Ray disc. (There is no mention of this option on Buffalo's website).
