Lubic : Looking for the Ultimate HDD Storage Tower?

Looking for the Ultimate HDD Storage Tower?

Rate this News:  BadPoorAverageGoodExcellent

The well known company behind the Lubic Cases this week-end promoted in Akihabara their ultimate storage case for HDD. It allows you to store up to ten HDDs and power them up with a regular PC power supply. Now I wonder how on earth you can plug ten IDE HDDs together. SATA or SCSI is ok, but what about IDE?

Oh and yes, did you guess the price of this product is 30,400 Yen (194 euros)?

Kinda small for my taste, I used one from Thermaltake, I can put until 14 HDDs there w/o any problem, any kind (IDE, SATA, SCSI, etc).

For as low as USD$ 140 (w/o power supply).

Lol I don't even have half as many SATA connectors! Though I wouldn't mind investing in a HDD array for a possible server configuration for the future. :3 With TBs and TBs of HDD space lololol.
