We were invited to Panasonic's presentation of its new GPS Strada for Japan, CN-HX1000D and CN-HW1000D. Both items are generally the same, and differ only in size.

So what's new about this GPS? You can control many aspect of your home from your car. If you're half way to work and realize you forgot to lock the front door, with a simple press of the touchscreen our GPS will lock it for you. You can also create a TV recording schedule so you don't miss your favorite shows, control your air conditioning, turn off lights…

How does it work? Thanks to your Bluetooth mobile and its partnership with SoftBank, Docomo, and Au, you can access all your devices via the net.

All standard GPS functions are present as well, DVD/TV/CD/MP3/RADIO player, HDD, controlled through a 7' LCD touch screen with a resolution of 800x480.

Here are some pictures and a video (captured with the new LUMIX DMC-TZ5) of the presentation:

What?! The title was too long or something?
Also, I would not call it a GPS. But a more descriptive title would certainly reach the limit.
