Elliptical and circular-LCDs : LG Display Develops New Circular and Elliptical Displays

LG Display has recently developed both small circular and elliptical LCD screens. The 1.4", circular-shaped LCD measures 35.5 mm in diameter, while the 6" elliptical measures 78.8mm in height and is 131.4 wide. Both display up to 262,000 colors and have a near 160-degree viewing angle, and the elliptical-shaped LCD accepts power digital photo frames.

It's LG Display's goal that the new circular LCD be widely adopted in the future, and be used by mobile phones, watches…
