RP-HJE900: New Zirconia Earphones, from Panasonic

Japan's Panasonic will release their new RP-HJE900 earphones on June 15th. Our earphones adopt zirconia, a material generally used in the manufacture of fake diamonds which should suppresses sound distortion. Sound pressure sensitivity is around 100dB/mW, and frequency response is 6Hz–28 KHz! (Impedance: 26Ω).

They also feature something interesting... Removable cables.

Why would someone want the removable cable feature?

hello,
i´m sorry to say that this in-ear earphones are not so unique in removable cable technology, because Sleek audio provided its SA6 in-ear earphones with this feature some time ago.
Check it out in its web,
http://www.sleek-audio.com/
We are going to pubish a complete review of this product soon, don´t miss it.

A detachable cable is a replaceable cable.

Professional headphones had replaceable cables for ages.

Sleek audio is crap. I've heard it. Stop the advertisement.

Detachable cables are common in high end audio equipements. Sleek audio certainly isn't even among the first.

Sleek Audio was not the first to make the removable cable but Panasonic is the first to copy Sleeks version. So has pioneer with the tunable sound.

Head-fi.org is a community of actual audiophiles and they loves the SA6. Which is how I found out about them and bought it. Do your research before writing "crap".

people would want removable cables because we all know cables are fragile and may break over time, this would be so much more convinient for buying a replacement instead of breaking the 3.5mm plug and resoldering a new one on. i know this because i've gone through 13 pairs (yes thirteen) of earphones that have all broken teh same way.

Who said the Sleek is crap has certainly no clue of what sound is, and how an IEM should sound. Those used to the stock buds, please stop posting misleading info,

Go to Head-Fi and read a little first...

I have tried from UE, Westone, Shure, Klipschs, FreQ, Livewires, Etys, and the list can go on, to any imaginable IEM and certainly Sleeks are among my favorites bang for the buck ones...
