why is sony still making mp3 players? do they make any money? it seemed like they don't even sell in their domestic market.

I've got a Sony mp3 player, also 2 ipods. My ipod video only lasted a few months before its hdd started acting up, it was never dropped or mistreated. I don't like being tethered to itunes. The walkman gets the most use, battery life, sound quality seems to be better. Now that they have ditched sonicstage there really is no reason to not to like them. I can go to any computer get pictures, videos, music and just drop it on the player like I would a flash drive.
