AQUOS DX Series: Sharp Introduces the World's First LCD TV with a Built-in Blu-ray Recorder

Sharp's AQUOS DX Series are the world’s first LCD TVs with built-in Blu-ray disc recorders. There are 16 new models with from 26-Inch to 52-Inch screen sizes. They're equipped with a Digital W Tuner that allows simultaneous TV viewing and recording (H.264/AVC). These TVs also provide smooth picture quality with a Kameyama LCD panel.



Let’s start with the 52-Inch model (LC-52DX1-B Series):

It provides a Full HD resolution (1920x1080), a brightness of 450cd/m², a contrast ratio of 2000:1, a viewing angle of 176°, and an audio output of 30W (7.5W + 7.5W + 15W). It also comes with HDMI (x2) / D4 Video (x2) / S2 Video / Video (x3) / analog RGB inputs, as well as monitor / headphone / digital audio (optical) output. A vailable in Black or White with an expected price of 3600€

The 46-Inch LCD TV model (LC-46DX1-B) provide the same specifications. 3250€

The 42-Inch (LC-42DX1-B), comes with a choice between Black / White / Red. This series offers almost same specifications. Just, the speakers provide an output power of 20W (10W + 10W). 2700€

Same thing for the 37-Inch series (LC-37DX1-B). 2100€

The LC-32DX1-B, comes with 32-Inch panel, a resolution in 1366x768, a contrast ratio of 1,500:1, a brightness of 450cd/m², 20W speakers, HDMI (x2) / D4 Video (x2) / S2 Video / Video (x2) / Analog RGB inputs, and a monitor / headphone / digital audio (optical) output. 1445€

The 26-Inch models provides the same contrast ratio, resolution, and brightness as the LC-32DX1-B. 1200€

All models are compatible with BD-RE V2.1 (single / dual layer), BD-R 1.1 (single / dual layer) recordable disc, and most available playable discs.
