Thanks for the review, it looks impressive.
How is the build quality, does it feel a solid netbook or more rather plastically?

It has a great feel to it. Very solid. For me the screen is too small, but HD playback was impressive. Certianly the bees knees for portability though.

i hate how the space bar in general is getting smaller... computer makers need to remove that windows start key and lengthen the space bar!

You can get the English keyboard which does away with the various Japanese-input keys.
Can't wait to get my hands on one of these. Word to the wise: Sony Japan is offering the P with up to 1.86ghz (in addition to 1.60ghz and 1.33ghz), while Sony UK has just 1.60/1.33ghz options, and Sony US has only 1.33ghz. These are just for the pre-order models, so it could change once Configure-to-order options come out, but those that want to pull the trigger early might do well to import one from Japan.

I wasn't quite sure what the ports were on the left and right side. My guess is that on the left there is a USB and audio out port? But what was on the right? Any other ports to speak of?

The windows start key is on a large majority of keyboards. I'm looking at my Logitech keyboard and it has it. Bought it in Los Angeles at Office Depot.
I remember the good ole days when the space bar took up almost all of the bottom portion of the keyboard and there was no Windows start button.
