I think it's logical : Archos started to sell some PMP with 3G and a browser with the French operator SFR.

France aslo got thomson, alcatel, thales,Gemplus...etc
Every country has its speciality...for france its quite not electronic goods!
But we can compete in beauty (L'Oréal), army&space (Thales, Dassault, Ariane Espace, Airbus), food (Danone), Energy (Total, AREVA..).........Please, don't be so facetious...

It is 100% french? I think it's made in China with the logo of Archos. My opinion, I don't if it's true.
