SANYO : Solar Parking for Electric Bikes Now in Tokushima

Sanyo and Japan's Tokushima Prefecture announced the March availability of “Solar Parking Areas” for electric bikes. Due to their amazing popularity in Japan it was about time someone did something.

Thanks to Sanyo's expertise in both solar panel technology and batteries (Eneloop), Solar Parking Areas are 100% autonomous. Solar panels provide the necessary energy to a charging box that stores and provides electricy for electric bikes.
