Pentel Airpen Mini now PC and MAC Friendly

While this type of product isn't new, I'm not sure if a Mac version wasn't already available. The Airpen Mini will be released in Japan within next week and run on Windows 2000 SP4, XP, Vista 32 and 64Bit and only on OS X V10.5.

The Airpen module has 2MB of memory for storing up to 100 A5 pages.

So... what exactly does this pen do?

Are you referring to products such as Flyfusion pen and the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen? Those don't have the LCD unit and storage on the Livescribe is 1 or 2 GB. Is 2MB correct for the Pentel?

Thanks!

Sorry, we forgot to answer.... Yep, it's similar to the Livescribe Pulse Smartpen... Just take your note, the receiver will store what you wrote, and will transfer it to your computer. And it features 2MB of internal memory, allowing you to storing up to 100 A5 pages.
