OT: Stealth.Com Releases a Powerful Rugged Fanless Mini PC

Early January Stealth.com (Toronto) introduced the LPC-650, an ultra compact desktop PC powered by a Core 2 Duo… Yesterday for us in Japan and Friday in North America, Stealth.com announced the LPC-625F a fanless mini Core 2 Duo.

At Just 200 x 200 x 60mm Stealth.com succeeded in fitting a Penryn Dual Core P8400 CPU (optional P9500), from 1 to 4GB of RAM, 120 to 500GB of HDD Sata with optional SSD, Intel GMA X4500, HDMI & DVI Out, WiFi… For $1,595. Way more expensive than a Mini...

But way more powerful too.

i think you've just answered your question

mid/high range dedicated graphics adapters generally produce large amounts of heat and saps large amount of power as well.

But the Mac Mini have optical drive, and this don't... It's the same reason... I mean, about the heat?
