What is going on between Panasonic and Sanyo? The first one bought the later one or nothing happened?

The stuff between Panasonic and Sanyo is not finished. Panasonic is waiting for approval from a number of countries' regulators to ensure it is in line with all laws associated with the purchase.

The official offer has not been launched as yet, but there is supposed to be an announcement soon based on the most recent release on Feb 27.
