RED Ted Schilowitz : RED is Kicking Some Serious Ass in Japan Too!

This morning I was crawling over the crowd at Tokyo's Interop 2009, and had the pleasure to stumble upon Ted Schilowitz from RED Digital Cinema, who was in Japan to show how amazing RED cameras are.

RED cameras are really a step forward in digital film making. Granted their cameras are quite expensive, but I was surprised to learn from Ted that RED is slowly becoming a major player here in Japan as well.

According to TED there are several major TV stations, like NHK, Fuji TV and others shooting in RED, as well as many soap operas and Japanese movies. It looks like it's just the beginning…
